Forms and elements are collaged. The focus is on the color neon yellow. Using pure pigment, I explore one of painting’s fundamental questions:

What does it mean to create a good image? What does it mean to produce a good painting?

Compositions are pushed to their limits, examined, painted over, and presented as assertions or proposals. In this series, I consistently restricts myself to just two pigments only two: neon yellow and ultramarine blue. The emphasis is on neon yellow, which has now become a conceptual foundation. It draws attention to form with its luminous presence.
